Course Overview.
The Inside Out Therapeutic Coaching Course is a modular course comprised of two core offerings followed by a separate journey to become certified for practice.
Inside Out Coaching Fundamentals is a 3-month program to develop your core coaching skills. While some therapeutic coaching principles and tools are weaved through this part of the journey, the focus is on developing a strong foundation in the practice of coaching.
After completing the Fundamentals program, the next stage is Inside Out Therapeutic Coaching, a 3-month experiential learning program that teaches you powerfully transformative therapeutic models, techniques and insights. Beyond just teaching these to you cognitively, we support you to apply these models to better understand yourself. This enables you to deepen your own self-awareness while being able to use these processes with your clients.
Depending on the core offering you have completed, you can commence an optional 3-month journey of practice, education and assessment to become certified as an Inside Out Coach or as an Inside Out Therapeutic Coach.
The complete Inside Out Therapeutic Coaching journey, from the learning of coaching fundamentals to becoming certified for practice, has been lovingly crafted to provide students with a truly exceptional, life-altering experience.
Inside Out Therapeutic Coaching seamlessly integrates therapeutic techniques with coaching strategies, creating a fluid and adaptive process tailored to individual client needs. After developing your mindset, skills, and qualifications as an Inside Out Therapeutic Coach, you can enter the second year of the Butterfly Effect program. The Second Year of the program has a singular focus of supporting you to developing a thriving private practice as an Inside Out Coach and teaching you how to grow and scale your business for commercial success and maximum impact.

The next Inside Out Coaching Fundamentals course commences on 2nd April 2025.

Inside Out Coaching is a modular course comprised of three parts. The overall length of the course will be 3, 6 or 9 months depending on whether you do Fundamentals, Therapeutic and Certification.

Inside Out coaching is delivered using a mixed delivery model.
Content is delivered via written materials and video content to support self-paced learning. Group learning and development is facilitated by online teaching and practice groups occurring weekly throughout the duration of the course.
Your personal and professional development and integration are supported via 1:1 coaching sessions and supervision sessions with our master coaches and mentors.

You will need to set aside 4-5 hours a week.
This time commitment includes watching video content, participating in delivery sessions every Wednesday afternoon (AEST) and attending student-run coaching practice dojo to practice what you learn.

No, you do not need prior qualifications or training as a therapist.
In the Therapeutic Coaching course, we will teach you processes drawn from Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Gestalt therapy, and somatic psychology.
We will facilitate you to experience the same processes you will be trained to run with your clients; you’ll even receive client worksheets so you can replicate the processes safely and accurately with your clients.
